About NettoFlow

What NettoFlow covers, how it handles data, and how to read the results.

NettoFlow combines salary calculators, income-flow views, statistics, comparisons, and country guides for cross-border payroll research. This page explains the project scope, the browser-first privacy model, and where to check country-specific coverage before relying on a result.

Project scope at a glance

What the site covers

Calculator, income flow, statistics, comparison, and guide pages are built around the same country and tax-year models.

How privacy works

Calculation inputs stay in the browser. Legal pages explain the separate site operations such as analytics, ads, and consent management.

Where to verify scope

Country guides list supported years, regional coverage, and known limitations before you rely on a result.

How the project is built

The practical rules behind the product.

Visible coverage

Country pages show supported years, regional rule sets, and country-specific inputs instead of hiding them behind the calculator.

Browser-first privacy

Salary inputs stay on the device during calculation. Separate legal pages explain analytics, ads, and consent where they apply.

Tools for different questions

Calculator, income flow, statistics, and comparison answer different parts of the same salary question instead of forcing everything into one view.

Research before reliance

Guide pages highlight filing-status support, regional coverage, and known limitations so results can be interpreted in context.

About the Creator

NettoFlow was created by Oliver Ferch, a software engineer with a deep interest in personal finance and international taxation.

Frustrated by the lack of transparent, cross-border salary comparison tools that accounted for both employee deductions and total employer costs, Oliver built NettoFlow to provide a unified, easy-to-understand platform for global tax analysis. The project is maintained as an independent resource for the community.

Data Methodology & Trust

Our tax calculation engine is built on official government data sources, tax authority documentation, and established accounting guidelines for each of our supported countries.

While we strive for high accuracy in simulating standard employment scenarios, NettoFlow is an informational tool. We do not provide professional tax advice. For binding assessments, always consult a certified tax advisor in your jurisdiction.

How to use the site

Start with a country guide if you need to confirm supported years, regional models, or local payroll specifics. Open the calculator once the scenario matches your situation.

The other views answer follow-up questions: income flow for composition, statistics for income-level patterns, and comparison for cross-country differences.
